Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

Zemi Miches is Hilton's first Curio Collection all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic, and the most design-focused of the new Miches resorts. It opened for stays from June 30, 2025, on the stretch where Carlyle Cove runs into Playa Esmeralda, and has roughly 500 rooms, suites and bungalows spread across six low, curved buildings.

The name comes from the zemí, the spirit figures of the Taíno people who lived on the island before the Spanish arrived, and the design leans on local materials and the landscape rather than the usual all-inclusive palace look. Around 119 ground-floor suites have private plunge pools, and there are beach bungalows for travelers who want to be steps from the sand. A premium Club Azure level adds its own check-in and extra in-room perks.

Food and drink is a strong point, with more than ten restaurants and bars reported at opening, plus a lounge bar called Caicu with an infinity pool looking over Playa Esmeralda. There is also a water park, so the resort works for families as well as couples.

Launch rates were reported from around $469 per night for two adults in 2025, which puts it at the upper end of the Miches market alongside Club Med. Hilton Honors members can also book with points, which is a big draw for travelers who collect them; Hilton has few all-inclusive options in the country.

Location: about 1.5 hours from Punta Cana airport, with countryside around it and Miches town a short taxi ride away. The beach is the same north-facing stretch as its neighbors, so sargassum is generally much lighter than in Punta Cana, but the water is open bay water without a reef.

Best for: design-minded couples, Hilton Honors members and families who want a calmer, more stylish all-inclusive. Not for: travelers who want lots of nightlife or the lowest price. Pair it with a morning at Montaña Redonda.
